These hashers are training for Hashfest. You should be too!Hashfest is the ultimate test of a hashers beer drinking mettle. It features a trail with beer games, followed by an On On On with more games, German food, a gimme, music, and maybe a few skits. Hint, if you loved the original Cocktoberfest hash (and who didn't!) and saw the movie Beerfest, then put them together and you've got this trail. Register by 9/12/07 and the price is only $25 for this one-day event. After that it goes up to $35. The hotel doesn't know anything about group or special rates for the event. We're unnamed new boots trying to play!
I have been calling the Redondo Pier Inn, 310-318-1811, and I talked to the manager, Brenden, who said he knows nothing about the group rate for the Sep 29 Hash. I gave him the block room rate code: LAH3-1400th but he would not give me the reduced rate. Please let us know who we need to talk to to get this special rate.
Sorry about the hassle with the Redondo Pier Inn. We're aware of the problem and are trying to straighten it out. the person that booked the block of rooms is out of town. She called the hotel while on her vacation but couldn't straighten it out. When we get it straightened out we'll post something to the list as well as to here.
